Greetings!  We have many exciting upcoming events (this is our longest Newsletter to date!) but I want to take this opportunity to highlight two great events.


First, United States Senate candidate Tiffany Smiley is making an appearance here in Clark County on Friday, July 9th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Boomerang 808 Main Street in Vancouver. $50 donation. You can make your donation by clicking HERE.  

   
Second, there will be a Candidate Fair on Saturday, July 10th from 9:00AM to 1:00PM at Church of Truth 7250 NE 41st Street in Vancouver. This is a free event where you can meet candidates that are running for offices from United States Senate to city council to your local school board. There will be breakfast burritos available for purchase.

Happy Independence Day!! 


Freedom is one of those words we love to shout, especially today.  But this morning during worship, I saw a picture of the Declaration of Independence and the word "Declaration" stood out to me.  

For a declaration to hold any weight, it must be made with authority.  When our founding fathers declared their independence, they did so in the truth of God's sovereignty.  They recognized that there is no authority above "Divine Providence", "Creator", and the "Supreme Judge of the world".  245 years ago, these were all common, vernacular descriptors of God.  They submitted themselves - and the English Crown - to God's authority.  Insodoing, they took up their God-given, unalienable rights, fully relying on His Divine Providence for the protection and culmination of these Free and Independent States we now call home.  It was recognized that each man should retain the right to freedom of religion - for God does not partner with coercion, but has established free will.


America's Declaration was an act of radical faith.  Our founding fathers declared a thing that had not yet come to pass, yet declared it as if it were already a reality.  They determined to live out their independence according to the self-evident truths of "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" - and not according to the will and whim of man (the English Crown).  And they backed up their declaration with action ...    


In declaring truth, they also declared war.  The 56 men who signed their names knew full-well the sacrifice and suffering that would follow.  They - and their families - counted that cost and willingly signed their own death warrants for high-treason against the Crown.         


Today, I am overcome yet again with gratitude for those who came before us, for their conviction, their declaration, and their action.  Today I stand and declare, by faith, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, the independence of our nation as penned on that historic day.  May God bless America, and may America bless God.

The June Donation-Match Challenge Results Are IN!


There were quite a few of you who accepted LD17  Representative Paul Harris' June donation-match challenge ... June's donations rang in at $8,400 + Harris' $5,000 match for a grand total of $13,400!!  Way to go everyone, and HUGE thanks to Representative Harris for your generous donation-match!  Let's keep the momentum going!    

 

   

Come join Rey Reynolds at a fundraising dinner event on Saturday, July 10th at The Black Pearl on the Columbia and invest in Rey's bid for Clark County Sheriff!  


Rey is a Constitutional Conservative who believes in keeping our community safe and wants to use real, working solutions for the problems we face, specifically by addressing quality of life surrounding homelessness.  


This semi-formal fundraising event will include a silent and live auction ... with some very special guests!  Did you know that Rey is on the Board of Directors for Camp Hope?  Camp Hope is an educational, non-profit youth camp, located across the river from Lewisville Park.  The mission of Camp Hope is to compassionately invest in our youth by providing a safe place for mentoring and teaching.  With the rise in teen suicide, along with other tragic stories among young lives, their prayer is to help make a difference in our community by offering HOPE and HELP.  Rey is committed to our youth and families supporting the foster community, so all of the proceeds from one of the amazing auction items will benefit Camp Hope!

July 14 & 16 - PCO and Activist Training


Join us for hands-on training as we launch our grassroots, boots on the ground, frontlines campaign to Get Out The Vote and support conservative candidates for local nonpartisan office!  


We'll be meeting at the Clark County Republican Party Resource Center located at 2702 NE 114th Ave, Suite 4 (two doors down from Subway) in Vancouver, WA 98682 (same parking lot/complex as Safeway).  Come on down!!

July 16 - Social at Alderbrook Park

Come out to Alderbrook Park for a social evening of fun, education, and community!  Bring your friends and family, meet with Precinct Committee 


Officers, chat with an Executive Board Member, and more.  We look forward to getting to know you, hear your heart, find and discuss new ways we can serve our community, and be a strong and united conservative influence - together!  Arrive as early as              4:00 pm, $5 entrance fee.  Delicious burgers available for purchase.  Look for balloons and a sign that says, "CCRP".  More details to come ... be watching for On The Radar updates!


   
   


July 16 - BALLOT DROP DAY!

This year's Special Election ballots will "drop" (be mailed out) on Friday, July 16th, so be watching your mailbox!  The following important information and dates about the 2021 Special Election was taken directly from the Clark County Elections Office.   
   

Not all voters will receive a ballot for this election. Only people in the following participating jurisdictions; City of Camas Ward 1 and 3, City of La Center, City of Vancouver, City of Washougal, Town of Yacolt, Battle Ground School District No. 119, Evergreen School District No. 114, Hockinson School District No. 98, Vancouver School District No. 37, Fire Protection District No. 5, Clark Regional Wastewater District, Town of Yacolt, Clark County Emergency Medical Service District No. 1.

The deadline to receive new voter registrations and voter updates to existing registrations online or by mail is 5 pm Monday, July 26, 2021.  You may still register and update existing voter registrations after July 26, but you must do so in-person by 8 pm Tuesday, August 3.

July 17 - Super Saturday!

We're planning a Super Saturday canvassing, sign waving, and phonecalling event on July 17th!  We'll be meeting up in teams to Get Out The Vote and flip those local nonpartisan seats in favor of conservative values.  It is imperative that we muster as many conservative votes as possible across 

   

Clark County.  Taking back legislative and congressional seats starts right at home in local nonpartisan office - seats that are often decided in the Primary.  Join us for this Super Saturday canvassing event!  More details to come - be watching for On The Radar updates!


Annnnnnd ... LD14 Director Glenn Kincaid has purchased an ice cream parade mobile to help with canvassing efforts and Get Out The Vote!  He plans to allow conservative Republican candidates to use it, FREE of charge.  If you are a candidate, you can contact Glenn by clicking HERE to email him for more information, availability, and scheduling.

July 21 - Elder Advocacy


You have an excellent opportunity to advocate for our elders! The Commission on Aging is holding an online meeting on Wednesday, July 21 from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm.

Certified Election Observer and True the Vote activist, Jon Anderson PCO 460, has volunteered to lead and direct our Election Integrity Team - which is experiencing RAPID growth!  HOORAH! 
   

Also, we are proud to announce that the Clark County Republican Central Committee Precinct Committee Officers adopted three Resolutions regarding Voter Registration of Non-Citizens, Mail-In Voting, and Electronic Elections Systems as unanimously written and approved by our Election Integrity Team!  You can read them by clicking HERE.
